Children’s Meditation Courses
10 Week Program

My name is Naomi Stevenson, I am a mother of three amazing children and I have worked with Children and young people for the past 12 years. I gaining my degree in Early childhood teaching from Charles sturt university and completed years of Metaphysical studied at Serenity Love.
I found my passion and gift with children and young people, was tied to their emotional and spiritual needs and so began, my search for further learning in this area.  I am a practising visual artist, a student and teacher of the metaphysics field, and I have a masters degree at Art Psychotherapy. These form the perfect modality to work with children and young people, in the developmental area. I am very blessed with a  fun and friendly nature and my ability to support children in an engaging and simple way. My passion is working with young people, who find it difficult to trust, express or simply connect with others.
The weekly focus of these meditation & therapy classes introduce young ones to simple teachings and meditations, designed to help establish a new skill set and coping strategies, to develop a positive mind and an open heart. They are conducted in a calm, serene environment, with kindness, support and a developmentally appropriate program . Classes focus on having fun, participating in positive, affirming activities and discussions relevant to their everyday experiences.
I am so excited & honoured to be offering this time and space to your amazing children and believe that weekly visits to these classes will be a gift not only to the children themselves, but, as a result of their time in group, a gift to their parents as well.

Love and Light - Naomi

My Objective is
To create a safe environment, free of judgement, that is positive, affirming and supportive for all young people. To model positive ways to engage and interact within a group, and establish ways of working together in a productive and thoughtful manner.

Taking a strengths based perspective and drawing on everyday experiences, will assist young people to approach stresses differently. Simple meditations will teach children the life-long lesson that meditation is an acceptable activity that exists within us already, giving them extensive ‘time-out’ with someone to listen to them.

The aim is to get young people to look within themselves, as their own source of calm, peace and self-esteem, leaving them ultimately better prepared for all that life has to offer.  The aim is also to focus on people skills, connecting with others, finding their own path of enlightenment through art, opening intuition, relaxation and calm and allowing them the space to achieve their highest potential.
